SETU undergraduate students can avail of extracurricular course offerings by EU-CONEXUS partner universities. This initiative (referred to as micro-credentials by partner universities) not only broadens the educational opportunities for students but also enhances their learning experience by providing access to diverse subjects.

The focus of the short courses is Smart Urban Coastal Substantiality, covering varied fields of study such as innovative heritage resorts as sustainable ecosystems, introduction to film literacy and filmmaking and tools for data analytics.

Below is a summary of guidelines for consideration before applying:

  1. Online Availability and Language Medium: All courses are live online classes and are taught through English.
  2. Course Structure: Each course follows a structured format, involving 8-10 hours of classes and 15 hours of autonomous learning over a 4-6-week timeframe. This allows for a comprehensive yet manageable learning experience.
  3. Enrolment Criteria: To ensure a successful learning experience, undergraduate students from SETU are required to have an English proficiency level of B2 or higher. This ensures that students can fully engage with the course content.
  4. Enrolment Process: The enrolment process operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Students can apply for and enrol in up to three short courses per semester in a single application.
  5. Guidelines: Students are encouraged to review the list of course offerings considering their SETU timetable and review the guidelines.

This initiative provides students with the flexibility to complement their regular coursework with additional learning opportunities, contributing to a well-rounded educational experience. The variety of courses offered by EU-CONEXUS partner universities ensures that students can explore diverse areas of interest. It promotes continuous learning and skill development, contributing to a more well-rounded and globally aware undergraduate experience at SETU.
