Accessibility Statement

SETU is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of our website and in doing so adhere to many of the available standards and guidelines.

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. The SETU website is currently partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA, in accordance with the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1, due to non-accessible content listed below.

This site has been built using code compliant with W3C standards for HTML and CSS. The site displays correctly in most current browsers and using standards compliant HTML/CSS code means any future browsers will also display it correctly.

As we carry out regular testing and accessibility auditing in order to ensure ongoing accessibility compliance on our website, we may become aware of certain areas/modules/templates on the website where we could improve in terms of accessibility. We strive to maintain a Level AA conformance to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1.

Non-Accessible Content

PDFs: Certain PDF documents on this site do not adhere to accessibility standards, potentially hindering full accessibility for users of screen readers. SETU is committed to appropriately tagging any new PDFs published on the website.

Iframes: The SETU website uses YouTube to host videos. YouTube videos are embedded in the website using iframes. Some of the components of these iframes might contain some accessibility issues. Since these are third-party elements originating from YouTube, SETU cannot currently rectify these issues with the iframes code used to embed videos.
