The South East Technological University (SETU) Student Union is the representative body for all students across the university. It plays a vital role in advocating for student interests, providing essential support services, and enhancing the overall student experience.
The Union works in partnership with the university to ensure that student voices are heard in decision-making processes, while also organizing a wide range of academic, welfare, and social initiatives to support student life on campus.

Erin Foley
Erin is the Student Union President, dedicated to representing and supporting all students' needs on campus. She works to enhance student life, promote student welfare, and ensure every student’s voice is heard within the college community.
Lucy Kate Bosch
Lucy is the Waterford Welfare and Equality Officer, dedicated to ensuring that every student feels supported, included, and treated fairly. She advocates for student wellbeing and works on initiatives that promote mental health awareness, inclusivity, and equal opportunities for all.
Brian Power
Brian is the Vice President for Events and Engagement on the Carlow Campus. His focus is to ensure students not only get an education but also have a memorable time in college. He is focused on ensuring companies offer student deals where possible and planning student events on and off campus.
Seraigha Ní Bhriain
Seraigha is the Waterford Vice President for Education, dedicated to supporting students in all aspects of their academic journey. She works to ensure that students have a strong voice in educational matters and access to the resources they need to succeed.
Hannah Polson
Hannah is the Wexford Vice President, focused on supporting the Student Union team and representing student interests across all areas of college life. She helps coordinate projects, initiatives, and campaigns that enhance the overall student experience.
Brendan Rice
Brendan is the Carlow Vice President for Education. Brendan is dedicated to supporting students through their academic journey on the Carlow Campus. He works for students in educational settings regarding Academic Support, Exams, Deferrals, and Resources.
Ciarán Cahill
Ciarán is the Carlow Welfare and Equality Officer. He is dedicated to maek sure every student feels supported, included, and treated fairly. He campaigns for equality, diversity, and inclusivity across the Carlow campus while also ensuring students are informed about their mental, sexual and physical health.
