Upcoming Funding Calls, Engaged Research, Researcher Flash Presentations
Friday, 16 October | 1:00–2:00 pm |
Online | Hosts: Tess Ames & Saoirse Cummins
This one-hour lunchtime session will provide:
- An overview of upcoming funding calls, with a focus on One Health and engaged research, including PPI.
- A quick introduction to engaged research and PPI, including how these approaches can support research projects and funding applications.
- An opportunity to build collaborations through a series of short flash presentations from researchers outlining their research interests, skills, networks and collaboration needs.
The flash presentations will provide an opportunity to learn more about the expertise and interests of SETU researchers, make new connections and explore opportunities to collaborate on ideas for upcoming funding calls.
Would you like to take part in the flash presentations?
We are looking for 10 researchers from across broad areas of the university who are interested in expanding their networks and developing new collaborations. Each researcher will have 3 minutes to give a short flash presentation covering:
- Your research interests and expertise,
- The skills, knowledge or networks you can bring to a collaboration,
- The type of expertise, skills or networks you are looking to connect with,
- Any potential research ideas or funding opportunities you would like to explore.
If you are unable to attend on the day but would still like to take part, you can record your 3-minute presentation in advance. Please indicate your interest in taking part in the flash presentations in the registration form.
