The BSc (Honours) in Horticulture at Kildalton College is a four-year Level 8 degree delivered in partnership with Teagasc and South East Technological University. It blends science, practical skills, and business, covering plant production, landscape design, food crops, and sustainability. With a 15 week industry placement, graduates earn Green Cert status. This course suits those passionate about plants, the environment, sustainable food production, or pursuing a dynamic career in horticulture, landscaping, or agribusiness.
Electives are run subject to class sizes and timetable constraints. Some electives require prerequisites. Transfer students who have already undertaken placement as part of their previously completed qualification, will be required to complete 6 other modules.
