Wexford GAA offer an exciting graduate scholarship with SETU in Sport Science/ Strength and Conditioning.

Wexford GAA in partnership with South East Technological University is offering an exciting Graduate Scholarship opportunity to dynamic, self-motivated individuals committed to a career in Sport Science/Strength & Conditioning, Performance Analysis or Business. These roles will combine delivery of supervised service support within Wexford GAA with studies in the related area.

Masters degrees offered by South East Technological University are carefully aligned to industry needs and aims to provide the knowledge, skills and experience to successfully pursue a career in the area.

David Denieffe, Vice-President for Academic Affairs SETU said; “We in the South East Technological University continually recognise the relationship between academic performance, health and wellbeing and in acknowledgement of this are delighted to support this successful partnership between Wexford GAA and the University. This collaboration highlights our combined commitment to the holistic development of those working in sport by enabling them to fulfil their academic and sporting potential.”

Declan Browne, a member of the SETU/Wexford GAA steering group and programme director of the MSc in Strength and Conditioning at SETU commented, “Having worked closely with Wexford GAA in the past, and more recently with its high-performance group, we have identified an ethos, vision and shared values for GAA in the region. We are delighted to announce this partnership and excited to work closely with Wexford GAA on a range of initiatives over the coming months”.
