Anam Khan graduated from SETU’s Master of Science in Supply Chain Management, before joining Eaton, a global power management company with longstanding ties to SETU.
Eaton, a global power management company offering energy-efficient products and services, has recruited several interns and graduates from SETU’s supply chain management programmes. SETU students have positively contributed to the company’s teams due to the knowledge and training provided across the University’s SCM courses at bachelor’s and master’s levels.
It was during the preparation of Anam’s master’s dissertation that she learned about the opportunities available at Eaton via the course’s lecturers.

Anam successfully applied for the role, sharing, “The role perfectly aligned with my passion and career goals. Eaton’s global footprint means that you interact daily with colleagues from all around the world and learn something new every day.”
Continuing, she shared, “When I received the offer, it was one of the happiest moments of my career journey so far.”
Following her passion
Anam has worked as a Logistics Analyst with the company for over a year, operating within the areas of air, ocean, and global warehousing. Talking about her role, Anam said, “Logistics is a dynamic field - no two days are the same - and that continuous variety and challenge is what I love the most. It keeps me engaged, growing, and passionate about my work.”
Anam’s interest in supply chain and air cargo operations first blossomed during her undergraduate studies in Pakistan, later flourishing during her time studying at SETU. Anam shared, “In Pakistan I earned a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management and became deeply passionate about supply chain and logistics.”
When researching postgraduate options, I found that SETU’s M.Sc. in Supply Chain Management was the perfect fit for me, particularly because of the programme’s strong industry partnerships and practical learning approach.

It wasn’t just traditional lectures, it involved discussions, real-world case studies, presentations, and learning from lecturers who brought incredible industry experience into the classroom.”
Continuing she said, “I especially enjoyed the opportunity to work on live projects with different companies and the active feedback we received after each presentation.”
Hopes for the future
Anam hopes to continue her career in logistics by continuously developing her skills and growing into a leadership role within the supply chain industry.
