CourseCast

Every episode of CourseCast has useful information in terms of course content, life on campus, career opportunities after graduation, and, most importantly, how prospective students can apply to study the various programmes at SETU.

Throughout the series, podcast host Mary O’Neill, an experienced broadcaster who is part of the Marketing team at SETU, speaks to course leaders, students, graduates, and people in industries related to the featured programmes.

We are thrilled to see CourseCast recognised by such an established and prestigious awards programme as the Digital Media Awards, placing SETU in the company of top-quality entries from multiple sectors and industries. It’s also a great honour for SETU to be the only third-level institute nominated outside of the student category.

Grace O'Dwyer, Head of Student Marketing, SETU

Episodes created to date reflect the broad range of high quality undergraduate programmes available across all campuses at SETU, from Aerospace Engineering to Nursing, to Music to Pharmacy to Visual Communications, and many more besides.

Commenting on the nomination, Grace O’Dwyer, Head of Student Marketing at SETU said: “We are thrilled to see CourseCast recognised by such an established and prestigious awards programme as the Digital Media Awards, placing SETU in the company of top-quality entries from multiple sectors and industries. It’s also a great honour for SETU to be the only third level institute nominated outside of the student category.

CourseCast is a testament to the vision and dedication of the marketing team but also to the range of superb programmes we offer students at the University. The podcast series is wonderful way for us to showcase what’s available to students across all our campuses, not just from an academic perspective but also in terms of the supports, facilities, placement opportunities and friendships they can enjoy during their time here.”
