Come along to SETU's campuses in Wexford on Wednesday, 7 October, and get a glimpse of university life while experiencing first-hand the welcoming community that makes our university unique.
Join us for our Autumn Open Day at our beautiful, historic campus in the vibrant student town of Wexford. Discover our extensive range of postgraduate, honours degree, ordinary degree and certificate courses, full and part-time, across Business, Digital Marketing, Tourism & Event Management, Visual Communications & Design, Art, Professional Social Care, Early Childhood Education & Practice & Agriculture.
Event structure:
Morning session: Open Day Experience (10.00am-12.00pm)
Lecturers will offer;
· General course overview
· Entry requirements and progression routes
· Work placement feature (where applicable)
· Erasmus opportunities (where applicable)
· Career opportunities
· Q&A opportunity for students and parents
Student Services, Lifelong Learning, Education Liaison Officer and Access Officer stands available for guidance on:
· Application processes
· Student life and supports
· HEAR/DARE queries
· Financial aid/assistance
· Part-time study options
Afternoon session: TRY Wexford Interactive Sessions (12.00pm-2.00pm)
Location: Designated classrooms
· Pre-registration required for students to participate
· Interactive, hands-on workshops or mini-lessons led by lecturers
· Designed to give students an immersive ‘taster’ of the programme
· Our lifelong learning team will also be on hand to answer any part-time study related queries.
Please note: For those interested in the BA (Hons) Art programme, please be aware that the open day will take place on the Summerhill Road Campus, however a trip to the Hill Street Campus can be arranged upon request. It is essential that interest around this programme is expressed in advance so transport can be arranged following the programme talk.
