The Land Sciences Living Lab at Carriganore is a dynamic hub that facilitates education, research, knowledge exchange, and community engagement. It serves as a collaborative space for a diverse range of stakeholders, including 650 undergraduate and postgraduate land science students, our biodiversity and sustainability forum, outreach groups and visiting collaborators. The lab provides a variety of practical learning spaces for outdoor education programs, demonstrations, and workshops. In addition, it hosts community groups, supports outreach initiatives, and serves as a base for the National Biodiversity Data Centre (NBDC).
SETU supports and encourages sustainable travel and transport options for all of our staff and students as our 11 campuses across the region.
- Our Green Campus Group is made up of both students and staff, who work voluntarily advocate for sustainable citizenship in all aspects of university life. The group actively promotes numerous sustainability initiatives throughout our campuses and works to engage both students and staff.
