SETU has signed the Higher Education Authoritys (HEA) Anti-Racism Principles for Irish Higher Education Institutions on behalf of the university which emphasises that SETU’s is at the forefront of societal change in Ireland with regards to tackling issues of racial inequality within the education system, and further afield.
SETU Disability Network - The Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) funded disAbility Network provides a strong voice for students and lecturers with both neurological and physical disAbilities.
SETU partnered with Tiglin to maximise educational opportunities for learners by enhancing alternative pathways to third-level courses for individuals affected by addiction, homelessness and incarceration.
- SETU is now a University of Sanctuary and offers a number of scholarship to welcome refugees, asylum seekers and other migrants into the university community.
