SETU’s Department of Education offers a range of professional education programmes that include:
- Initial Teacher Education Programme (Level 8) focusing on the formation of teachers and educators for the FET sector. The BA (Hons) in Teaching in Adult and Further Education is a Teaching Council-approved teacher education qualification (TEQ) for practitioners working in the FET sector.
- Masters programmes (Level 9) including the MA in Management in Education (MAME), Master of Education (Med).
- Postgraduate Diplomas in Teaching in Further Education (Teaching Council-recognised) on a full or part-time basis (Level 9).
- Certificates in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education and in Technology- Enhanced Learning (Level 9, 30 credits).
