Applications are made through the SETU Online Application Portal, accessible directly from each programme page on the postgraduate section of our website. Further information is available at www.setu.ie/global/study-at-setu/applying-to-setu.
Timelines
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis for January and September intakes. January entry usually opens in October or November, while September entry typically opens in November or December. Timelines can differ by programme, so you should always check the individual programme page for the most accurate information.
Required Documents
For taught postgraduate applications you will typically need a full transcript of your bachelor's degree, a copy of your degree certificate, and, if applicable, evidence of English language proficiency. If your documents are in a language other than English, you must supply certified translations along with the originals.
Fees and Payment
There is a €35 non-refundable application fee payable when submitting your application.
Tuition fees vary by programme and each year they are reviewed. You must pay at least 50% of the total fee at registration (or pay in full), with the remainder due by 31 January of the academic year. For more information go to the postgraduate fees section on our website.
