EU-CONEXUS aims to empower students across all partner universities, encouraging them to participate in a new form of Higher Education that enhances their studies, social life and professional prospects. The EU-CONEXUS Student Projects call is open from 30 March to 30 June 2024. This year’s theme is centred around sport. Take your team selection to European levels, apply with your idea and be in with a chance to secure €10,000 funding.

Supporting Student Engagement through sport

The EU-CONEXUS Student Projects call aims to enhance inclusiveness and promote European values and culture across EU-CONEXUS universities. To participate, student(s) from a minimum of three universities from EU-CONEXUS must collaborate together. The theme of this call is sport related. The call is open to registered students and the maximum budget to be awarded to each project is €10,000. A timeline and budgetary information are required as part of the application process. Turn your passion for sport into a meaningful project, putting your skills to the test!

Two Project Types

The Student Projects call invites applications from two main project areas:

  • Projects aiming to disseminate Smart Urban Coastal Sustainability topics, research results, and good practice in sustainable management of urban coastal areas. If the project is under this theme, sports projects should be orientated towards sports activities in coastal areas.
  • Projects aiming to strengthen EU-CONEXUS students’ community such as collaboration between student organisations, volunteering, projects in peer support, projects that promote collaboration between students of partner institutions. This project type should involve team sports where EU-CONEXUS student community will be strengthened.

*Three projects will be approved, each up to €10,000.

A comprehensive rules and regulations document can be found on the EU-CONEXUS website. A helpful list of tips and tricks to support applications is also available.
