Scholarship Overview

A graduate position with Veon, for a minimum of one year, on successful completion of the BSc (Hons) in Land Management in Forestry.

* Veon reserves the right not to offer a 3rd year work placement, the 4th year research project and/or offer the graduate position at their own discretion.

  • Applications are invited from 3rd year students of the BSc in Forestry at SETU Waterford.
  • Applicants must intend to successfully complete their programme in 2024.
  • Applicants must meet the eligibility criteria.

The application process and subsequent evaluation of applicants is explained in full in the terms and conditions. However, in brief, the process is:

  • Applicants fill in an online application form and upload their complete Forest Management Plan.
  • Applicants are shortlisted based on their application form.
  • Shortlisted applicants are interviewed.
  • The successful applicant will be informed of the outcome.
  • The award will be formally presented at the annual Industry Sponsored Awards.
