Nicole Drohan completed the Level 6 programme in Digital Marketing and Social Media.

Nicole Drohan, a Training Curriculum Architect in the tech space, wanted to upskill in order to transition effectively into an internal marketing role within the company.

She decided to enrol part-time in Digital Marketing and Social Media at SETU; a dynamic 12-week course designed to equip students with the essential skills and practical knowledge needed to thrive in the world of digital marketing. Modules include content creation and search engine optimisation (SEO) to pay-per-click (PPC) ads, email campaigns, influencer partnerships, artificial intelligence (AI), and data analytics.

Nicole found the course hugely beneficial:

"The programme has given me the confidence and tools to take on marketing responsibilities within my company. I can now apply digital marketing strategies immediately, which has enhanced both my contribution to the team and my professional growth. Modules on website creation and digital marketing are particularly valuable, as they directly equip me with the skills needed to build our team’s online presence and improve internal communications," she said.

Flexible learning

Nicole felt the part-time structure of the course made it possible for her to fit it around her life:

"It’s absolutely doable even with work, family, and other commitments. Take it one step at a time, stay organised, and don’t be afraid to ask questions - the support from the course leaders makes all the difference. The part-time programme is designed to fit around real life. The course leaders are knowledgeable, approachable, and make complex topics easy to understand. SETU genuinely makes upskilling accessible for anyone balancing work, family, and study," she added.
