The annual Department of Sport and Exercise Science (DSES) Honours List Awards took place at SETU’s Cork Road Campus on 17 November 2025.

The event celebrated the academic excellence of students of the Sport and Exercise Science programmes based on SETU’s Waterford campuses.

This year, 65 students were recognised for their achievements. Each student was presented with a certificate of achievement by Professor Michael Harrison, Head of the Department of Sport and Exercise Science.

Ten years

This event marked the tenth anniversary of the DSES Honours List, which was started in 2015 to acknowledge and award excellent academic achievement from students from first to final year of their studies. Students were recognised across the department's six undergraduate degree courses: Recreation & Sport Management, Sport & Exercise Science, Sports Coaching & Performance, Public Health & Health Promotion, Health & Exercise Science, and Nutrition & Exercise Science.
