Biography

Jacqui Woods O’Brien is a Lecturer in the Department of Computing & Mathematics in WIT since 1999.  Her subject areas include Database Design & Development, Graphic Design, and Video/Commerical Production, Editing & Effects.


Education:

2002 – MSc in Computing by Research, WIT.

1997 – BSc (Hons) in Commercial Software Development, WIT.

1996 – BSc in Commercial Computing, WIT.

2007 – Present   -  Programme Leader BSc (Hons) in Multimedia Applications Development

2015 – Present   -  Programme Leader BSc in Multimedia Applications Development – Year 3

2010 – Present   -  Supervision of final year undergraduate projects in the Department of Computing &                                  Mathematics

Jacqui has been involved in the development and delivery of a number of modules in the following areas:

  • Multimedia Database Development & Advanced Multimedia Database Concepts
  • Graphic Design
  • Video-Commercial Production, Editing & Effects

Jacqui completed an MSc in Computing by Research in 2002, WIT.
