SETU celebrated another successful year of its annual Architectural Technology Exhibition at its Kilkenny Road campus in Carlow.

The exhibition concluded the academic year and celebrated the creativity and technical ability of SETU students across the Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Architectural Technology programmes.

The event showcased a wide range of student studio work, including hand-drawn elements, physical scale models, virtual reality outputs, and Revit-based digital drawings. The exhibition highlighted student’s ability and dedication to explore design, construction, and innovation while integrating technical detailing, sustainability principles, and digital workflows.

Industry engagement and professional connections

Jenny Barnes, architect and architectural technologist, MRIAI, MCIAT and CIAT ROI Committee member, extended a cordial welcome to attendees and opened the exhibition at SETU. Representatives from the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists and various industry leaders also attended, providing students with valuable opportunities for engagement, feedback, placement, employment and networking.
