Card Collection

For new entrants, details of how to get your student card will be provided in your registration information/e-mail. Cards are usually collected during orientation or over the first few days of the semester. There is an onus on students to collect their card during first year, Semester 1.

In order for your card to be printed you must have:

• Completed online registration
• Uploaded your photograph

ID Card Replacement

There is a €25.00 replacement charge if a card is lost, damaged or stolen.

If you have lost your ID card or would like to replace it please follow the steps below:

• Please visit the Card office on the Cork Road Campus
• To order your first SETUCard, you must have received your Institute username and password.
• You will be asked to log in using your university login details, and you will need to upload a suitable digital passport-style photograph.
• It is important to get your SETUCard before you start your course, as you will need it to access many of the facilities and buildings on campus.
• If you order a replacement card it will be ready to collect in 1-2 working days.
• Your SETU Card photograph will be used for identification purposes and for academic and administration activities of the University.
