The Certificate in Technology-Enhanced Learning is a Minor Award (30 Credits, Level 9) for teachers, trainers and education professionals who wish to develop their knowledge, skills and confidence in designing content for and delivering courses in online or blended mode.  It offers participants dynamic and active options to engage with learners in blended and online platforms.  Working in a collaborative learning environment, participants will expand their repertoire of digital teaching and learning, curriculum design and assessment strategies that they can apply directly to their own professional practice. 

Assessment: 100% Continuous Assessment.

Delivery:  The Certificate in Technology-Enhanced Learning is a part-time, flexible programme, where participants may study at their own pace.  Modules are delivered online or in blended mode i.e., a combination of online, face-to-face workshops, self-directed and group learning.

Applicants for this programme are required to have an Honours Degree (NFQ Level 8) or equivalent.

On successful completion of the Certificate in Technology-Enhanced Learning, graduates may progress to complete the Postgraduate Diploma in Education or the Master of Education (MEd) in SETU in Waterford.
