Biography
A Law lecturer with 25 years teaching and programme leadership experience at an Irish third level Institute and currently specialising in Land Law. A law graduate of NUIG 1990, 1992, and UCC 1996.
1994- 1996: UCC: LL.M Law( Commerical Law specialism)
1990-1992: NUIG. LL.B in Law
1987-1990: NUIG. B.A Legal Science, Sociology and Politics.
1993 - Date: Lecturer on Business and Core Law Modules at NFQ(QQI) levels 6,7,8 and 9 in Business and Humanities Schools. Member of Couse Boards and Humanities School Board leading and delivering on Law Course update, development and accreditation for NFQ(QQI) and Irish Professional Bodies in Law.
1993- Date:Lecturer on First Year Programmes participating in progressive initiatives on First Year Experience and Retention Initiatives.
Specialism: Land Law
2012- Date: Co- ordinator of Law Work Placement Initiative with the Property Registration Authority, Waterford.
2007 - Date: Organiser of the Annual Guest Speaker Series in Land Law.
2004- Date: Bursary Co- ordinator for the annual Nolan Farrell and Goff Merit Prize in Land Law.
2008- Date: Member of Dignity and Respect at Work Team implementing the Dignity and Respect at Work Policy at WIT.
UCC 2015: Completed studies in Jurisprudence
On- going professional development through regular attendance at conferences and CPD in Law and in- house professional development at WIT.
