South East Technological University (SETU) is proud to sponsor the Carlow girls' under-14 Gaynor Cup soccer squad’s recent full set of gear. The prestigious Gaynor Cup competition takes place in University Limerick with Carlow taking on Inishowen in their first match on 9 June at 12pm. Carlow’s first two games will be live streamed on the Schoolboys Football Association of Ireland (SFAI) Facebook page.


Manager of the girl's under-14 Carlow team, Alan Smith is looking forward to the competition with his team. “The girls have been training hard, showing great commitment and effort. We have a strong squad, and we can do some amazing work in this competition.”  

The Gaynor Cup is an annual national soccer tournament that features representative teams from every schoolgirl's league in the country. This year, the Gaynor cup is taking place in Limerick on 7 June.

Carlow’s Gaynor cup squad manager, Alan Smith, expressed his gratitude to SETU for its sponsorship of the Carlow girls' team, “I would like to thank SETU Carlow for sponsoring us with brand-new gear. I would also like to congratulate SETU on its recent establishment.”
