Two members of SETU’s Department of Pharmacy have been named among Irish Pharmacy News (IPN) Dynamic 100 list for 2025.
Dr Claire Lennon, Head of Department of Pharmacy, and Dearbhla Walsh, Lecturer in Pharmacy, were both acknowledged for their exceptional impact within their field. The IPN Dynamic 100 List celebrates the individuals who are redefining excellence, innovation, and leadership within Ireland’s pharmacy sector. The annual list recognises professionals who have demonstrated remarkable resilience, relentless commitment to patient care and evolution of the pharmacy profession.

Claire earned her place on the list for her strategic leadership and vision, within pharmacy education, through the development and accreditation of the SETU Master of Pharmacy programme. Her contribution to delivering modern pharmacy education to the south east, fostering a culture of growth and sustainability has been widely commended.

Dearbhla was recognised for her dedication to improving patient healthcare outcomes, community-based wellness projects, and her role in supporting high standards in community pharmacy practice. Her work continues within academia through pharmacy education and commitment to professional development.
Their inclusion in the IPN Dynamic 100 List 2025 underscores the vital role they play within SETU’s new Department of Pharmacy to advance pharmacy education and practice in Ireland.
