Can your creativity answer the EU-CONEXUS Artistic Call for projects? What’s your answer to 'Smart Urban Coastal Sustainability'? We want to know!

For the 2nd year, EU-CONEXUS is launching its annual call for cultural and artistic project proposals enhancing 'Smart Urban Coastal Sustainability'.

This year’s call for 2023/2024 will be dedicated to visual arts projects such as painting, drawing, sculpture, design, photography, video, sewing and fibre arts, digital art, mixed media. Any other forms of art that can be translated into a visual representation (photo, video) will also be accepted.

Open to all EU-CONEXUS students - SETU is a partner University of EU-CONEXUS.

Successfully chosen works will be exhibited at EU-CONEXUS partner universities. The nine-university alliance is made up of La Rochelle Université, France; Agricultural University of Athens, Greece; Catholic University of Valencia, Spain; Klaipeda University, Lithuania; University of Zadar, Croatia; Technical University of Civil Engineering of Bucharest, Romania; University of Rostock, Germany; Frederick University, Cyprus; and South East Technological University, Ireland.

The call is open to all EU-CONEXUS students and SETU is a partner University of EU-CONEXUS. 

EU-CONEXUS aims to address global and local challenges by tackling environmental, technical, economic and societal needs related to the topic of 'Smart Urban Coastal Sustainability'. In essence, it looks to contribute to improving the standard of living for our coastal areas and submitted work should be inspired by 'Smart Urban Costal Sustainability'. Projects can be submitted individually or in groups. Students are encouraged to partner with other universities in the group and this is an aspect of the evaluation process. 

Deadline for projects submission is Monday, 29 February 2024 at 11pm (Irish Time).
