The Department of Computing & Mathematics at SETU (Waterford) is hosting a ‘Try Computing’ event for Sixth, Fifth, FE and TY students interested in a career in ICT (Information & Communication Technology).

Students will participate in practical exercises with staff from the Dept. of Computing & Maths, to explore the general area of computer science. This relates directly to courses on offer at SETU, such as Applied Computing, Software Systems Development, Computer Forensics & Security, Creative Computing and more. The session includes a programming lesson in one of the department’s computing labs, as well as other talks and demonstrations.
 
Students are encouraged to speak to lecturers on the day and ask questions about the courses, career opportunities and college life at SETU.
