Reminder: The deadline to register for Repeat Examinations, Repeat Continuous Assessment and/or Repeat Practicals is Friday 26th June @ 5pm.

If you are required to complete a repeat assessment, please ensure that you register before the closing date. Registrations received after the deadline may not be accepted. Students should check their results carefully and, where applicable, complete the registration process as soon as possible to avoid any issues.

Exam Result Queries

Exam/Assessment Module Results 2025-26
We aim to release Semester 2 exam and assessment results on Thursday 11th June at 2:00pm. This applies to Carlow and Wexford students only.

You can only apply to repeat failed modules from Semester 1 after the Semester 2 results have been released in June 2026. You will be able to sit any failed modules in the Autumn 2026 exam session. Closing date for repeat exam applications is Friday 26th June at 5pm.

Please note: In 2025/2026 the Autumn exam entry fee is €150 for all modules which are outstanding from Semester 1 or 2 in the current academic year only. Modules outside of this time period are considered repeat learner modules and carry the associated fee, i.e. €200 per 5 credit module.

For craft apprentices, the repeat fee is €150 for all modules, regardless of the time of sitting.

The Repeat Learner

Students who are carrying modules or are not progressing, or are taking a semester or year to retake failed modules are considered as repeat learners for those modules.
