FAO Applicants Resident in Ireland: Springboard+ Funding

This course has been funded under the Irish Government’s ‘Springboard+’ programme, for more information on the fee structure please head to the Springboard+ website here. To be eligible you need to be:

  • Resident in Ireland - either with a valid social welfare claim in place for unemployed people; or, for employed people, proof of having been resident here for 3 out of last 5 years.
  • Non-EU Irish residents must have ‘Stamp 4’ residency immigration status or above in order to be eligible.
  • Recent Graduates of full-time level 8 degree programmes are not eligible for Springboard+ funding for one year after graduation date but may apply as fee-paying students.
  • The funding is not open to people who are not resident in Ireland. Please see further information on Springboard+ eligibility.
  • The Springboard+ application closing date is Thursday, 16 July 2026.

About Programme

The Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Marketing Practice programme has been developed in response to demand from a wide variety of industries. Graduates will be equipped with a broad portfolio of digital marketing skills. The programme will be delivered in an innovative and flexible manner, consisting of lectures, workshops, group work, presentations, and guest speakers from industry and academia, and via e-learning mode. Participants will receive intensive practical training in key digital skills such as online content creation, web and e-commerce design, development of online communication platforms, data analytics and search engine optimisation, strategic digital planning, online branding and relationship management.

Delivery

This programme will be delivered through a blend of online lectures, tutorial sessions and laboratory practicals, as well as independent study. SETU Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Marketing Practice programme programme is fully accredited by the Institute of Analytics (IoA) which is the Professional Body for Analytics and Data Science professionals in the UK and Internationally.

  • Applicants must hold at least a Level 8 qualification at honours level in business or a related programme with strong business content.
  • Places on the programme are allocated on merit, on a competitive basis.
  • Applicants who do not currently meet the academic entry requirements may wish to consider using SETU's Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) mechanism.
  • Please complete the form electronically and submit by email along with all supporting documentation such as education and training certificates etc.

Applicants for whom English is not their first language will, in all cases, be required to submit certification that they meet SETU's English Language Requirements.

Subject to satisfying the aforementioned entry criteria, applicants will be offered places on a first-come-first-served basis per their application submission.

Graduates of this programme will have the option to proceed to complete an additional 30 credits to receive a full MSc in Digital Marketing Practice qualification.
