Strength and Conditioning (S&C) focuses on the physical development of athletes together with injury rehabilitation and prevention in order to improve elite sporting performance.
 

Topic Detail
Endurance TrainingReview and conduct training methods for aerobic and anaerobic endurance, lactate threshold training, including steady-state, fartlek, interval, model training, hill repetitions, and sport-specific drills.
Speed/Agility/Quickness (SAQ)Science and application of SAQ training, sprint training, acceleration/deceleration, reaction/quickness training, and application of SAQ principles to different sports.
Strength/PowerResistance Training: Sport-specific resistance training, advanced approaches (pyramid, supersetting, pre-exhaust), correcting imbalances, biomechanical principles (joint loading, forces, centre of gravity, levers, muscle action lines, force angle), analysis of exercises for load, technique, muscular development, and rehabilitation. 
Olympic Lifts: Teaching technique and progression. 
Plyometrics: Principles of plyometric training (stretch shortening cycle), basic exercises, medicine ball drills, sport-specific drills, safety considerations, designing programmes, complex and functional training.
