Staff/Students are not required to register for on Campus Parking.
Clamping will be in operation for all illegally parked cars or Pay & Display without a valid ticket.
To assist you with choosing a parking space please park within the white lines. Yellow boxes and double yellow lines have been placed on the roads and within car parks.
Please be mindful of bicycle users and pedestrians when using the car parks.
A 10km/h speed limit applies to all Institute car parks.
We would respectfully request that you do not park in residential areas surrounding the Institute.
Disabled spaces are available to drivers holding a valid disabled parking permit.
Please respect these spaces, which are clearly marked for drivers holding a valid disabled parking permit. Cars using these spaces will be regularly monitored and anyone using these disabled parking bays without a valid disabled parking permit will be clamped.
Carlow offers bicycle lanes in town that lead to the college. Traffic laws apply to all road users.
Bicycle parking can be found on campus, Students, Staff and Visitors must ensure to use their own locks to secure their bicycle to the racks provided.
Ebikes are available to use, with the new addition of a parking spot dedicated for Ebikes on campus in front of the Dargan Building, between the Burrin building and at our sports campus.

By Bus - Dublin Airport is accessible by over 1,000 buses and coaches daily, reaching many areas in and around Dublin and towns and cities across Ireland, available outside both terminals.
By Taxi - Taxis are available from the forecourts directly outside Terminal 1 & Terminal 2.

By Bus - Regular bus and coach services are available from the front of the terminal building to Belfast, Lisburn and Londonderry. All three bus terminals provide access to the wider Northern Ireland and intercountry public transport networks.
By Taxi - The International Airport Taxi Company, official taxi operator for the Belfast International Airport, are available for hire 24 hours a day 7 days a week outside the right hand door of the airport Exit lobby. Only taxis approved by Belfast International Airport are permitted to use the taxi rank. A list of sample fares is displayed in the exit hall of the terminal building.
Car Rental - Six car hire companies have outlets at Belfast International Airport, the majority of which are based in the arrivals hall.
Car Parking - A number of car parking options, both on and offsite are offered.
