Design Carlow’s final year exhibition returns to South East Technological University’s Carlow campus after a two-year hiatus. The exhibition displays various projects produced by final year students studying Design and Product Design Innovation at SETU. Projects featured at the exhibition explore a variety of themes including marine protection and extraction of microplastics at source, social anxiety around dating post pandemic, a domestic dog grooming system and water usage awareness through emotional design. The exhibition opened on 20 May at 6pm and runs for a week until 27 May. It takes place at SETU Carlow campus in the Haughton Building with free admission.

Hilary Dempsey, programme director in Design at SETU, is delighted to highlight the students work at the exhibition once again, “We are delighted to be back up and running again after a two-year break. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase the amazing work the students here at SETU can produce”.

Product Design Innovation is a creative and collaborative activity which uses a design-led approach to identify and develop new products and services to enhance and improve people’s lives. Product Design Innovation is a level 8 bachelor of arts degree available at SETU’s Carlow campus.
