South East Technological University (SETU) is proud to announce the upcoming startX Showcase, marking the culmination of the groundbreaking startX innovation programme.
This event, scheduled to take place on May 9th, will celebrate the achievements of four cohorts of ambitious early-stage innovators who have participated in the programme. Launched with the vision of fostering entrepreneurship and innovation, the startX programme has provided participants with invaluable tools, insights, and support to navigate the challenging landscape of entrepreneurship.
Over the course of the programme, participants have gained a deeper understanding of entrepreneurial pathways, received mentorship from industry veterans, and been connected with crucial resources within the local ecosystem.
The startX programme, built around the core pillar of community engagement, has strengthened the relationship between the startX cohort and the wider innovation ecosystem in the South East. Participants, representing diverse backgrounds including academia, early-stage entrepreneurship, and local businesses, have collaborated and thrived in this dynamic environment.
SETU is delighted to host the startX Showcase and celebrate the remarkable achievements of our participants. This event underscores our commitment to supporting innovation and entrepreneurship in the south east region and very much aligns with SETU's objectives as outlined in our strategic plan, 'Connecting for Impact'.
