The 'Connecting for Workforce Skills’ Conference looks at the importance of a skilled, flexible, well-educated workforce to develop our regional economy, and examines the workforce skills needed to maintain the south east region as an attractive place to live, work and invest in. The challenges and opportunities of developing our workforce in the region will be explored with a keen eye on how we ensure access and inclusion for all of our communities. Four general themes to structure our conversations around are: (i) Partnership, (ii) Workforce Skills Development, (iii) Attracting Talent and (iv) the Future, themes that each stakeholder group will bring a different perspective to.  

Keynote speaker for this conference is Mairéad Crosby, Regional Director South East at Ibec.
