As prescribed in the Technological Universities Act 2018 South East Technological University Governing Body has established a committee to be known as the Nominations Committee. The committee is established for the purpose of selection and appointment of external members to the Governing Body and to oversee the election of staff members and student members. The members of the Nominations Committee are:
- Professor Patrick Prendergast- Governing Body Chairperson
- Ms Ruth Beadle - Governing Body external member
- Mr Kevin Lewis - Governing Body external member
SETU Governing Body has agreed that the President, Professor Veronica Campbell, while not a member of the Nominations Committee, shall be in attendance at committee meetings.
