The Certificate in Social Enterprise Management (30 Credits, Level 7) is a special purpose award, which aims to develop participants' knowledge, skills, self-confidence, and effectiveness as managers of social enterprises.  Throughout this course, participants will develop an understanding of how to manage a social enterprise and the role of the social enterprise manager.  The course is delivered online with a focus on shared learning, where participants are encouraged together to develop their knowledge and skills of social enterprise management.  The lecturers will challenge the participants to become positive agents of change with their individual social enterprise context.  

Progression:  On successful completion of this programme, graduates may apply for progression onto other courses at SETU Waterford and other Higher Education Institutes. 

Delivery: This programme is delivered online on Fridays.

Fees:

€370 per 10ECTS Module

  • Higher Certificate (NFQ Level 6) or equivalent 
  • Access to a social enterprise in which to apply their learning
