Overview

The Certificate in Evidence 1 aims to provide students with a solid knowledge and understanding of the burdens and standards of proof that apply in civil and criminal proceedings, together with the rules that apply to the examination of witnesses and the treatment of witness evidence.

This programme is a module from our law degree programme, offered as a standalone certificate for students who are interested in gaining a recognised qualification in this discipline.

Students with an interest in this area should progress to the Certificate in Evidence 2 on successful completion of this module.
