Originally from Valentia Isl. Co. Kerry, Stephen studied clarinet in The Kerry School of Music under Adolf Packaiser. He completed his performance Masters in W.I.T where he currently tutors clarinet, saxophone, theory and wind band.
Alomost two decades of second and third level teaching experience.
Stephen began performing professionally while in secondary school and as a clarinettist/saxophonist he is still in demand today. He performs regularly with theatre orchestras all over the country and also with many other successful groups such as Brass and Co., Opus Pocus to name a few. As well as performing as a soloist and in ensembles he is the principle clarinettist with the newly formed Waterford Concert Orchestra.
