Biography
Dr. Patricia Mulcahy is a graduate of the University of Galway where she completed her undergraduate studies in Biochemistry and PhD in Biocatalysts. She has over thirty years experience as a strategic leader, researcher and lecturer in higher education. This includes ten years at CEO / President level; twelve years at Senior Executive / Vice-President level; two years as Head of Department; six years as a member of Faculty; and principal investigator research activities in both the Technological and University sectors. She has had the privilege of contributing to the work of many regional, national and international bodies throughout her career and most recently played a lead role in the establishment of SETU in May 2022.
