Biography

Nora is a PhD candidate under the supervision of Dr Sheila O’ Donohoe and Dr Cormac O’Keeffe.

The title of the PhD study is “An investigation into analysts’ conflicts of interest pre and post financial crisis: the impact of the Market Abuse Directive 2003/EC/6 (MAD)”.

Nora has presented at the Doctoral Colloquium of the Irish Accounting & Finance Association (IAFA) 2016 Conference, at the Waterford Institute of Technology. She presented at the Irish Accounting & Finance Association (IAFA) 2017 Doctoral Colloquium and Conference at the Athlone Institute of Technology. In June of 2017, she presented at the Merton H. Miller Doctorial Doctoral Colloquium at the European Financial Management Association (EFMA) Annual Conference at the American College of Greece in Athens. 

In 2018, Nora has been selected by the IAFA to be the Irish candidate at the American Accounting Association Doctorial Colloquium, at the Deloitte University in the USA.
