Research Interests
As a postgraduate recipient of SETU Carlow’s President’s Fellowship Scholarship she conducted an M.A (Research) study on the Perceptions of Formal Supervision in Social Care Services.
This study was one of the first to focus on supervision in the field of social care in the South East of Ireland and to look at perceptions from the perspectives of managers, supervisors and supervisees. The findings highlighted the need for effective supervision to support staff in a changing social care environment.
