About Pure
Pure is a web-based system and can be accessed from anywhere. Pure serves as a single point of access for all research information and fulfils a number of functions across the University.
As a researcher you can use Pure for:
- Meeting the funders open access requirements by uploading publication full texts to Pure
- Raising the visibility of your research profile through the research portal
- Running the self-tasked researcher annual report and research university/centre/group annual reports
- Keeping an up-to-date record of all your research activity at SETU and produce automated CVs
Pure takes SETU’S research data from our existing data systems (Scopus, Web of Science, etc.) and combines it with data stored directly in Pure (e.g. impact and esteem activities), to provide an extensive overview of research in the university. Pure contains data about and can report on all aspects of research information, including (but not exclusively):
- Research staff
- Grants and contracts
- Publications
All current research active staff and research postgraduate students with Pure accounts can have a personal profile page on the portal. Research portal profile information can be updated by the individual staff member or research postgraduate student by editing your data in Pure.
