SETU's evolved Action Plan (2020-2023) now consists of fundamental actions that when complete, will assist the University to realise its long-term ambition to adopt in full the principles of the EC Charter and Code for the betterment and benefit of all members of its research community.
The University has achieved much of the objectives set out in the original action plans. In addition, we have made significant progress in embedding the principles of The Charter and Code into policy and procedure. Although much progress has been made there remain critical areas in which we must focus our efforts over the next three years to fully achieve the aims of the University HRS4Rs Action Plans.
SETU is fully committed to the HRS4Rs and will continue to adopt proactive initiatives to realise the aims of the action plan, ensuring the value and impact of implementing this strategy is primarily felt by researchers. The application to award renewal phase has encouraged the university to re-evaluate our progress in the provision of support at all research career stages and provides a clear roadmap for continuous improvement going forward.
