Places on a two-day, residential hackathon at South East Technological University (SETU), which aims to create a sustainable future for the South East region, have booked out.

The hackathon is expected to take place from 24-25 May at Arc Labs at SETU in Waterford. Participants will have the opportunity to work with experts from IPB, Portugal and Hanze University, while networking with like-minded students. Those taking part will also be in with the chance to win some great prizes, including a €100 voucher for each student on the winning team.

During the event participants will explore AR, VR and MR at Walton Institute, engage in Lego play and learn about social challenges. All students will receive accreditation for taking part and will enjoy all their meals and one night’s free accommodation at the Viking Hotel.

Capacity for new sign ups has been reached, but those lucky enough to secure a place are certain to enjoy the unique experience.

The event is being organised by South East Technological University-Erasmus+, supported by GROWTHhub, DIFUCH and co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.
