The Irish Healthcare Centre Awards are amongst the country's leading and most prestigious healthcare awards ceremonies, celebrating innovation and excellence across the sector. The event shines a spotlight on the exceptional work being carried out by Irish healthcare professionals with nominations judged by an expert panel.
David Denieffie, Vice President for Academic Affairs at SETU in Carlow commented, “SETU is delighted that the work of Dr Theresa Lowry-Lehnen in our Carlow Student Health Centre has been rightfully acknowledged at the Irish Healthcare Centre awards. Theresa’s excellent work with our team of GPs and the team in Student Services provides an optimal service that supports our students’ health and well-being.”
Speaking about her win, Theresa Lowry-Lehnen commented, “I am delighted to accept these awards and to represent SETU in my work as a nurse practitioner. These awards highlight the excellent work of the student services department at our Carlow campus. It is also wonderful to see this recognition for the outstanding work being carried out at third-level student health centres nationally”.
Theresa has worked with SETU (formerly IT Carlow) for over 14 years and has a longstanding history of excellence in her field.
