The ParkerLaw Bursary 2023 has been awarded to a final year student of the Bachelor of Laws in South East Technological University (SETU).

Suzanne Parker, Principal Solicitor at ParkerLaw made the presentation to final year student Emily Lundy in SETU in Waterford last week.

Expressing her delight in continuing the ParkerLaw Bursary for 2023, Ms Parker congratulated Emily on being a worthy recipient.

Head of the Department of Law and Criminal Justice at SETU, Dr Michael Bergin also offered his congratulations to Emily on receiving this prestigious bursary for 2023.

He noted that not only had Emily outstanding academic results, but she was also a very committed undergraduate ambassador for the Department and a dedicated officer of the Student Law Society.

In expressing the Department’s gratitude to ParkerLaw he stated that, “In addition to this generous bursary, ParkerLaw has offered a remunerated internship to a second-year law student this summer and is also participating in the Criminal Justice Degree placement programme.

“We recognise and acknowledge the commitment involved in offering these opportunities to our undergraduates and are very grateful to Suzanne and the team at ParkerLaw.”
