The importance of problem solving, teamwork and marketing strategy development was emphasised during the Marketing Challenge 2023.

The action learning group project consists of a presentation completed by the BA (Hons) in Marketing & Digital Media final year students each year.

The challenge this year was to develop a digital marketing and social media strategy for the Carrick-on-Suir Credit Union.

The Credit Union had typically relied on traditional rather than digital communications but recognised that a digital approach was necessary in targeting the younger demographic of both secondary school and third level students.

The Carrick-on-Suir Credit Union was represented by Ross Clery, Dolores O’Halloran and John Power, who are all directors of Carrick-on-Suir Credit Union.

The winning team was Aobha Owens, Alannah Owens, Eve Phelan and Toni Walsh.
