Experience a day in the life of a graphic design student at SETU. Attendees will visit the graphic design studios in SETU and will attend a presentation on the Visual Communications (Design) course and facilities.
Try Graphic Design is designed to help fifth and sixth year students decide whether the BA (Hons) in Design (Visual Communications) is the right choice for them. Further education students are also welcome to attend.
After a short introductory lesson from SETU lecturers, attendees will get the chance to take on a mini graphic design project of their own.

| 10.00 - 10.15am | Lecture Room | Short lecture on visual brand Identity and monogrammes |
| 10.20 - 10.30am | Studio | Project briefing |
| 10.30 - 11.00am | Studio | Students sketch ideas in notebooks for their own monogramme |
| 11.00 - 11.15am | Coffee break | Student Ambassador will take students to the Canteen |
| 11.15am - 1.30pm | Mac computer lab | Students will use Apple Mac computers and Adobe Software to render their work. Students complete their designs and apply their monogrammes to virtual items. |
