The Careers Development Centre has a presence in both campuses in Carlow and Wexford, offering support and advice throughout your time at SETU, no matter what stage you are at on your career journey. We have lots of information / resources / advice for those of you wishing to plan and manage your career:

  • Support in the development of employability skills, job applications, CV construction and interview techniques 
  • Information on employment, training and further learning options
  • Advice and guidance on course and career decisions
  • Liaise with employers on employment opportunities

Keep in Contact

Carlow: Drop into the Careers Office in the Barrow Centre (beside the Student’s Union) for a short query or make an appointment by emailing [email protected]

Wexford: Drop into the Careers Adviser in the Angeloreum room on level 2 (usually Thursdays) or email [email protected], or call into Student Services.

Gradireland is the most used graduate recruitment site in Ireland and has been actively helping students and graduates online for almost two decades. Gradireland works in partnership with the careers services in all universities in Ireland.

WAM 
Willing Able Mentoring (WAM) is a work placement programme through ahead.ie aiming to promote access to the labour market for graduates with disabilities and build the capacity of employers to integrate disability into the mainstream workplace. Participating employers (WAM Leaders) collaborate with WAM to offer mentored, paid work placements for graduates with disabilities.
