The aim of this module is to provide students with a fundamental understanding of the operation, application and calibration of process chemical analysis: Ph, Conductivity, CO, O2, O3, Humidity. Students will also be introduced to weighing systems, as well as light and speed instruments.
This module is targeted primarily at those already qualified in an engineering/science discipline and who wish to develop a basic understanding of Electrochemical and Weight Measurement.

Delivery
The course consists of an 11-week on-campus program at the SETU Kilkenny Road Campus in Carlow, with sessions typically held once a week for 4 hours.
This programme is targeted primarily at those already qualified in an engineering/science discipline or those who hold a national craft certificate who have completed the programme Certificate in Fundamental Process Measurement.
