Biography

Brenda has a Bachelor of Science in Applied Computing degree from Waterford Institute of Technology (1998). In 2004 she completed a Master of Science (by research) degree under TSSG from Waterford Institute of Technology. Masters Title: "Emerging Standards in on-line Education".

Brenda has  been lecturing in Waterford Institute of Technology from 1998 to date.

Past program leader for BSc. in Multimedia Applications Development

Brenda is a member of the Centre for Information Systems and Techno Culture(INSYTE) at WIT and is director of the INSYTE-Cooley Research Lab. This lab is a partnership between the Luke Wadding Library and the Computing and Mathematics Department in WIT.  This research lab has emerged from the generous donation of the Professor Michael Cooley archive to WIT by his family in 2017 for which we are most grateful
